These templates ease the process of setting up a multichannel loudspeaker system so that the speakers are at the correct angles to the listening position. Two PDF files are available: one for the ITU 5.1-channel arrangement and the other for Chesky Records' 6.0-channel arrangement. Instructions for their use are here.
If your multichannel system does not have electronic delays then you will need also to ensure that the speakers are equidistant from the listening position. Two utilities available on the Freeware page can assist with achieving this.
